Bharat Mart To Open In Dubai Soon

As revealed in a report by Khaleej Times, Bharat Mart will cover an area of over 2.7 million ft.² it is coming up in the Jebel Ali Free Zone. The facility will include retail, showroom, and warehouse space. Redefining how Indian goods reach Africa, the Middle East, and Eurasia, it’s truly a step in a great direction. The announcement was made after Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum concluded his official visit to India.

Making the ties between the two countries even stronger, Bharat Mart is often compared to its Chinese counterpart, Dragon Mart. A business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketplace in Dubai, it has been designed in such a way that it facilitates trades between Indian businesses and the global market. It’s worth mentioning that the company had unveiled the virtual model of the project. This was done in the presence of Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan.

What Will The Facility Entail?

At this point, it should be noted that the initial phase will cover 1.3 million ft.². It will serve as an important trading hub for Indian micro, small and medium enterprises, featuring 1,500 showrooms and more than 700,000 ft.² of state-of-the-art warehousing. Did you know the facility will also have a dedicated space for women-led businesses? Yes, this facility will also have office spaces, light industrial units, and meeting facilities. In fact, it has a great location as it will be situated just 15 km from the Al Maktoum International Airport and 11 km from the Jebel Ali Port! Not to mention, it will also offer convenient access to the Etihad Rail!

So, linking the Facility to more than 300 cities worldwide, this place is going to enhance market reach.
