About The Annual Closure Of The Dhams In Uttarakhand

If reports are to go by, the Kedarnath Temple will close on November 3, 2024, and the Badrinath Temple will close on November 17, 2024. Gangotri will close on October 26, 2024, and Yamunotri will close on October 24, 2024.

The char dhams are four religious destinations that hold a lot of importance for Hindu pilgrims. Every year, they close during the winter seasons as the region gets heavy snowfall and it becomes tricky for pilgrims to travel to the shrines.
