Recently, Swapan Dasgupta, a former Member of the Rajya Sabha took to social media to talk about his experience of flying with IndiGo and raised a concern as well.

Swapan Dasgupta shared how IndiGo airline made it a compulsion to buy a snack if any passenger is willing to purchase a soft drink. It doesn’t matter if the flyer needs a snack or not, it is obligatory to buy it. Calling it “coercion”, he urged Jyotiraditya M. Scindia and tagged him to “restore the principles of choice to fliers”.
