She Says, “Treat Employees Like Family”

She says, “The foundation of any relationship is what we are thinking of the other person. Everything will crumble if we are not thinking right. If we are not thinking right, the foundation will crumble.” If we need to give feedback, be it about bringing discipline, transformation or productivity, it’s important to first highlight what’s good. The spiritual mentor also shared the importance of every organisation having a purpose and treating their employees like family. “Don’t use them (employees) only as a means of earning money. They are your family,” is her message for employers.

She gave examples of companies not allowing their employees to leave for home till late. And swamping them with work after reaching home. “What culture have you created as the owner of the business house?” She believes a healthy work culture and change happen from the leader. It must flow like a pyramid from the top to the bottom. “Like a parent to a child,” she explains.
