The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train is all set to revolutionise travel, not just intercity travel but also within the city. A new bullet train station which will come up at Boisar is a shining example of how travel within the city will also be transformed. The new station was announced recently by the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited or NHSRCL. The new station will reduce the travel time between Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex or BKC and Boisar to just 36 minutes!

According to an article which was recently published by Oneindia, the train will allow travelling between the Boisar Bullet Train Station is under construction as of now. Once it is completed, people can travel between BKC and Boisar in just 36 minutes.
As of now, it takes more than three hours to travel between the two places by road. Boisar is Mumbai’s largest industrial suburb whereas BKC is becoming the city’s largest financial district. Hence, the quick travel between the two places will not only facilitate trade and commerce but will also revolutionise local travel.
The station’s architecture will be a confluence of local culture and modernity. Its facade will draw inspiration from the traditional fishing nets symbolising the Konkani fishermen who used them.

In addition to an emblematic exterior, the interiors, too, will be strategically built. The station will be equipped with state-of-the-art amenities which will provide a seamless travel experience to passengers. Its strategic location on the Boisar-Chillar State Highway ensures convenience.
The bullet train station will also be located a mere 6 kilometres from the Boisar Western Railway station so that travellers have access to affordable transportation for travelling within the city. The new station will surely change the Boisar region.
