What Is The Black Friday Sale?
The busiest shopping day of the year and the start of the Christmas shopping season in the United States is Black Friday, which falls on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Stores usually provide widely publicised deals at discounted pricing and open early, often as early as midnight or even on Thanksgiving.
Traditionally, big celebrations like Diwali, which take place in October or November, revolve around India’s holiday shopping season. Similar to Black Friday in the United States, online retailers such as Amazon and Flipkart run multi-day sales at this time. Similar sales events also take place on India’s Independence Day. However, global stores brought the Black Friday concept to the subcontinent, which led several Indian retailers to start using the promotion.
