On Monday, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, inaugurated the newly renovated Al Shindagha Museum in Dubai. The largest museum in the UAE, it is located in the Creek Area and is the perfect place for anyone who wishes to learn more about the history of Dubai. Giving visitors a glance into the history of the Emirates and its development over the years, the museum is spread across more than 20 pavilions, which means there are a lot of things to explore. Not to mention, it includes 22 suits, 80 historical houses in the Shindagha Area, and a collection that dates back to 3000 years.

Key Attractions In The Museum
The key attractions at the museum include pavilions that relay the story of the birth of a city, people and faith, a perfume house, traditional crafts, traditional health care, and beauty and adornment. As it happens, there is a special children’s house, wherein you can take your munchkin for a fun-filled enriching experience. Offering a vibrant mix of high-tech and low-tech exhibits that encourage intergenerational storytelling, this section also features some traditional Emirati games.
Talking about tickets, these can be bought from their website. For adults, the tickets cost AED50 while the same for children and students is AED24. While the time of the museum is from 10 am to 8 pm, the last entry will be at 7 pm. It is worth noting that the first phase of the museum was opened back in 2019!
