Everyone was balancing a glass on their heads to imitate Abrar Haque, Bobby’s character in the film ‘Animal.’ Some were successful, others not so much. On this fun-filled episode of Sunday Brunch, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, interviewed him and talked about food, films, travel, and more.
Bobby Deol Is Strictly A Mountain Person
Lord Bobby is fond of travelling and takes frequent vacations with his beloved family. However, the actor told us that after 2019, they stopped going on vacations. To bring back the ritual of holidaying, exploring the world and appreciating the picturesque scenes, the Deol family began planning trips again.
He told us that he was leaving for another holiday the next day and was dying to explore the quaint spots. It looks like we caught up with Bobby right on time! Along with that, he said, “I love mountains; I don’t like the ocean so much,” indicating that he is a hardcore mountain person.
Further, Bobby told us that he truly fell in love with Kashmir when he visited it in 1985. He recalled his last time visiting this pristine location was in 1987. It was a trip to visit his dad, Dharmendra, for a film shooting schedule. Lastly, he added that he loves to go to Manali. Indians love to travel to Manali and Kashmir; it is an all-time favourite travel destination!

More Of His Travel Experiences
Bobby told us that after his broken leg healed, he went to Rome for a friend’s wedding. He loved the cuisine and the tourist spots in Rome. The way he talked about Rome felt like he wanted to skip Mumbai and transport back there in an instant. He also revealed how he loves to explore bustling cities rather than off-beat destinations around the world.
But he couldn’t skip his precious farmhouse! The actor mentioned that he and his family frequently make trips to his farmhouse. There they enjoy fresh milk, ghee and more because calories don’t matter to Booby when he visits his farmhouse. So he eats as much as his heart wants!
