Last year, Bobby Deol took the Internet by storm with his ‘Animal’ character Abrar Haque. His chiselled body and the iconic ‘Jamal Kudu’ step were the talk of the town. Almost everyone attempted his famous whiskey-glass-on-the-head step at parties! Well, we wanted to recreate it with him, talk about his career and more. So, for this delightful episode of Sunday Brunch, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, went to Lord Bobby’s house.
Bobby Deol Drank 7-8 Glasses Of Milk Every Day Growing Up!
On the topic of food, Bobby shared with us how he doesn’t limit his food intake when at his farmhouse. He can have as many crispy and hot paranthe as he wants; it doesn’t matter. However, back home he can only consume three paranthe.
He also shared with us that his farmhouse has cows and buffaloes. He is blessed enough to enjoy fresh milk and desi ghee from his farm animals. This prompted Kamiya to point out that he adores milk a little too much! Lord Bobby agreed immediately and said, “I used to drink a lot of milk growing up. Kam se kam, din mein saath-aath glass pi leta tha.”
Kamiya was stunned on hearing this and wanted to make sure if this amount of milk was healthy for anyone. He told us that he understood the consequences of drinking large amounts of milk daily and now his stomach remains upset most of the time. Are you someone who loves milk as much as Bobby did or absolutely hates it and can’t even stand the smell of it?

He Had A Special Glass For This Beverage
Continuing on Bobby’s love for milk, he highlighted how he always used to drink milk from the tallest glass in the house. The reason behind it? Well, he said and we quote, “Taki mujhe sabse zyada doodh mile!” On top of this, he added that because of all this, he had a special glass for drinking milk!
He recalled someone had gifted a huge glass to his father, Dharmendra, and he made a mental note of it. When the timing was correct, he grabbed it and claimed it as his! His obsession with milk was too real!
He has to recreate the Abrar’s entry scene with milk in his whiskey glass, right? That is the only correct way now! Catch this Sunday Brunch video live on our channel.
