Bookings Are Now Open For Dubai Marathon Happening In 2024!

Can you imagine running on a cold crisp morning with your hair flying with the wind while you push yourself to cover more distance? Well, if this sounds like an ideal way to spend your morning, chances are that you also like to run marathons. And if both of these instances hold true for you, then you will be pleased to know that the date for the most awaited Dubai Marathon is now out. Here’s all about the date and the booking of this much-awaited sports event.

Often recognised as the Middle East’s first and oldest international marathon, Dubai Marathon is making a comeback in 2024. As it happens, the Dubai Marathon will come back for its 23rd edition on January 7, 2024, which happens to be a Sunday. Moreover, this announcement comes after the Dubai Marathon returned to the UAE calendar after a long gap since January 2020. Talking about the event itself, there are three different race distances for the marathon to ensure there is something available for every level of runner. There will be 42.195 kilometres of race, 10 kilometres of race, and 4 kilometres of race for which the entry is priced at AED150, AED85, and AED50, respectively.

As it happens, it is one of the largest annual events in Dubai and runners of all ages, eagerly wait for this sports event. Moreover, it’s worth noting that Dubai Marathon 2024 will again happen under the aegis of the Dubai Sports Council. However, it’s also worth mentioning that the organisers will work closely with Dubai Police, Dubai RTA, and Dubai Municipality all year round to plan the routes for these three races. At this point, it’s also worth noting that it was only in February this year that the Dubai Marathon returned after a long gap, since 2020. Adidas Elite athletes, Abdisa Tola and his sister-in-law Dera Dida from Ethiopia took the men’s and women’s titles, respectively.
