Burj Khalifa Lights Up To Celebrate Olympic Day

In order to commemorate Olympic Day on Friday, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa was illuminated with the Olympic logo and the hues of its five rings. Olympic Day honours Baron Pierre de Coubertin, who founded the International Olympic Committee on June 23, 1894.
The Burj Khalifa never fails to miss such occasions. Not just this, but many other landmarks of certain countries also celebrated the spirit of the Olympics on this special day.

Recent Events Celebrated By The Landmark
Burj Khalifa was recently shimmering in full power to celebrate the successful achievements of some countries. The names of the countries are Russia, the Philippines, Azerbaijan, Italy, Ethiopia, Africa and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Also, we know how Dubai’s tourism ambassador, Shah Rukh Khan is always featured on this eminent tower. But very few people are aware of the history of Shah Rukh and the builder of this iconic structure. Mohamed Ali Alabbar and Shah Rukh Khan allegedly met through a mutual friend when Dubai was just starting to develop into the thriving metropolis it is today. Then he chose to go to his office. Additionally, he anticipated visiting a lavish workplace. Instead, he was taken to a tea shop referred to as a “Dhaba” in India.
At a recent event in Dubai, Shah Rukh Khan talked openly about his bond with the Emirati millionaire who constructed the Burj Khalifa., The highest structure in the world was developed by Alabbar, who is also the founder and chairman of Emaar Properties. At the Oasis Emaar launch, he appeared on stage alongside Shah Rukh Khan, who disclosed that the two have been friends for several years.
