The Manhattan outlet which was rated as the most infamous branch of NYC has finally closed its doors after a lot of criticism from the audience. The internet fame in 2017 made him easily launch a series of restaurants across the world. Now the restaurant has hanged a signboard of moving to a new location. Did You Salt Bae Sold Milkshakes For $99?

The eatery, which had a unique menu that included a complimentary “ladies’ burger” with pink buns and a $99 gold milkshake, was situated in Manhattan’s Union Square district. Not to mention the renowned Salt Bae Burger, known for its “Wagyu meat” and “oozy toppings”.

This restaurant closure doesn’t surprise us as we are no guest to the scorching reviews Salt Bae has received in the past. Over the years, the company has been the target of numerous lawsuits alleging sexual harassment and payment fraud. One of the former employees once said that working for the butcher was similar to participating in the Hunger Games. You were always under some sort of observation and had to be ready to face his wrath at any given minute.

The Turkish Butcher turned Chef still gains a lot of followers and guests in his other restaurants. Salt Bae currently owns luxury steak houses in Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, the US, the UK and Greece. So shutting down one of these many restaurants is hardly going to affect the renowned personality.
