Marina Social Is Closing Its Doors
The idea was the brainchild of British chef Jason Atherton and the concept was executed in 2015. After 9 successful years in business, the space is set to be replaced by a famous brand called Papas. You can tell you’re in for a remarkable experience as soon as you enter Marina Social with its lattice walls, dim lighting, and glass terrace overlooking the marina. The open kitchen generated more energy, and you may browse the floor-to-ceiling wine cabinet before your dinner. Now that everything has been pulled down, it’s time to bid farewell!

Papa’s Will Be Replacing The Space
The team behind the famous restaurant brands Asia Asia, Lock, Stock & Barrel, En Fuego, and KOYO will be setting up this spot. According to rumours, the outpost was influenced by traditional Italian trattorias.
The family-friendly establishment will serve food all day and all night that is designed to be shared and features a menu full of traditional Italian taste combinations influenced by the seasons.
The area, which is on the first floor of the InterContinental, also has an outside patio with a beautiful view of the harbour.
When Papa’s opens its doors after the summer, the bar from Marina Social, which was a feature of the venue, will undoubtedly be a busy one. The UAE is home to Solution Leisure Group’s 19th facility. The hospitality firm operates restaurants at a number of locations, including the Intercontinental Dubai Marina, Atlantis, The Palm, Rixos Premium, Seven Tides, and others.
Later this year, the group will establish the wildly famous Asia Asia restaurant on Palm Jumeirah. In October, it will debut at Andaz The Palm. The new venue, Hanami, will be 10,000 square feet in size and have a sizable terrace with views of Atlantis The Royal and Burj Al Arab.
