‘Call Me Bae’ Cast Ananya Panday, Vihaan, Varun & Gurfateh Play Food Antakshari With Kamiya Jani

Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, was joined by the fabulous cast of ‘Call Me Bae’ for this episode of Sunday Brunch. Co-stars Ananya Pandey, Vihaan Samat, Varun Sood, and Gurfateh Pirzada were at Amazonia, an Asian restaurant in BKC, Mumbai to discuss their life, travel adventures, the experience of shooting this show, and more. Before starting with lengthy conversations, we played a fun food game of Antakshari with the cast of ‘Call Me Bae’; check it out.

A Game Of Food Antakshari With The Cast Of ‘Call Me Bae’

For this Antakshari, each individual had to name a food item ending with the letter of the previous player’s food item. The rules were simple, you had to answer quickly, cannot repeat items and they should be something you have consumed. Everyone was excited to play it, so Kamiya began with the dish, Pav Bhaji.

Varun quickly went with idli, Gurfateh chose ice cream, Vihaan picked medu vada and Ananya said aamras. The circle was complete and it was again Kamiya’s turn. She chose sambar and the rest of the ‘Call Me Bae’ cast followed. Food items like rava dosa, aloo paratha, aloo gobi and imli were named. 

The last food item reminded Kamiya about our restaurant, Imlee The Chat Gali by Neeti Goel & Curly Tales, in Bandra West and her flow was disrupted. She missed her chance and they disqualified her. The entire cast of ‘Call Me Bae’ was surprisingly happy to beat our Editor-in-Chief in Antakshari!

The Next Round?

After that, slowly everyone lost the flow of the food Antakshari. Varun continued with the last letter of imli and mentioned a fancy dish, edamame truffle dim sums. Gurfateh took two seconds and picked Sambar. But it was already used by Kamiya, so he was disqualified.

It was Vihaan’s turn and he picked snail mucin. It is a skincare product! His blunder became clearer to him as soon as he uttered the words. Everyone called out his hilarious option but Ananya was focused on the game. She answered sushi and Varun couldn’t think of anything with the letter ‘I’ at that moment.

Ananya disqualified him and said with enthusiasm, “I won!” To flaunt her skill, she commented and taunted her co-stars, “Guys, you all are useless, I just wanna say.”
