Canada Is All Set To Issue Super Visa; From Eligibility To Application Process, All You Need To Know

Canadian residents with dreams of reuniting with their parents are in for some fantastic news. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced plans to send out a wave of invitations for the Super Visa to sponsor parents for permanent residency.

Starting May 21st, 2024, IRCC will be inviting approximately 35,700 potential sponsors from the pool of interest to sponsor forms submitted back in 2020. This move aims to facilitate long-awaited family reunions and comes after a period of backlog due to the pandemic.

The invitations will be sent out over a two-week period, and those who submitted an interest to sponsor form in 2020 should keep a close eye on their email for updates from IRCC.
