Icebergs come in a variety of shapes and sizes, ranging from small floating chunks to massive structures that you can interpret differently. And now, Canadian photographer Ken Pretty spotted an interestingly shaped 30ft iceberg that bore a distinct resemblance to a characteristic part of the male human anatomy. Well, Netizens call it a dildo iceberg!
This Iceberg From ‘Dildo’ Town Really Looks Unusual
These photographs of a pen#s-shaped iceberg had gone viral over the internet. He posted these iceberg images on his personal Facebook profile that he took on last Thursday, April 27. Interestingly enough, Pretty is from the Newfoundland town of Dildo, which only makes his latest discovery a funnier joke. The photographer identified the iceberg’s name to be Harbour Grace.
Pretty’s photos of the iceberg sparked laughter on Facebook. One netizen questioned, “Is that where baby icebergs come from?” The photos have been viewed and shared by more than six thousand people on social media.
According to Pretty, many people assumed the photograph was phoney because of its resemblance with the phallus. “People do not think it is true. They believe it to be photo-shopped, etc.,” he said to The Guardian, “I can assure you that it’s true. However one cannot find the iceberg now. A day after Pretty photographed the berg, the bulbous top collapsed.
Tourists have long been attracted to Newfoundland’s east coast’s icebergs, which come from Greenland’s ice shelf and travel down the Atlantic Ocean throughout the spring.

There Are More Weirdly-Shaped Natural Objects
Similar circumstances occurred in the past when pictures of a fish with a pen#s-like form went viral. The odd seaworm was allegedly discovered by a free diver and photographer Josie Jones as she was scuba diving near Rye Front Beach in Victoria, Australia.
In another instance, there was an iceberg found that looked like a pair of underwear, complete with two leg holes and a waistband. It’s unclear how this shape came to be, but it certainly provides a comical sight for those who come across it.
While icebergs can be awe-inspiring and beautiful, they can also take on some funny and unusual shapes that can make us chuckle. While some of these shapes may be the result of natural forces, our imaginations can run wild as we see these frozen giants floating in the ocean.
