Cast Of ‘Call Me Bae’ Talks About The Food That They Would Never Eat

The stunning cast of ‘Call Me Bae’ was on Curly Tales for the recent Sunday Brunch episode. Actors Ananya Pandey, Vihaan Samat, Varun Sood, and Gurfateh Pirzada met with our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, to talk about food, travel, Bollywood and more. Everyone bonded over the delectable food spread at Amazonia in BKC and the conversations flowed smoothly.

Actors On ‘Call Me Bae’ Wouldn’t Eat This Food Item

While the cast of ‘Call Me Bae’ indulged in deletable sushi, noodles, pizza and more, we couldn’t help but stir conversations towards food, weird food combos and the weirdest item they have ever eaten. During this interaction, Ananya asked everyone present at the table, “What is that one thing you will never eat?”

Some people are quite picky when it comes to food and our guests also had that one thing they would never touch or eat. So, they were quick with their responses. Varun doesn’t like Lauki commonly known as bottle gourd. Vihaan went with insects while Gurfateh answered Bhindi commonly known as Lady Finger.

Gurfateh’s reply shocked everyone and his co-stars questioned him on how he doesn’t like this simple green veggie! He has been asked this numerous times as he stated, “Unappealing when you look at it.” Varun agreed with Gurfateh’s opinion as mentioned that the name ‘Bhindi’ is also very unappealing.

Ananya was still in shock from Gurfateh’s last confession when he added that he despises Brinjal as well. She wanted to take a stand for her favourite vegetables and said to Gurfateh, “Baingan and bhindi are my favourite things. I love them”

Continuing on the same topic, Varun highlighted food items or vegetables should be named in a way that appeals to humans. And not necessarily disgust them. He commented on how he could have liked Lauki if it was named better. Ananya again became defensive of her favourite vegetables.

Lastly, Kamiya suggested to Varun that he call their English names to make it sound fancy to his ears! Like Lady Finger or Okra and the rest of them agreed. Honestly, it was so cool to see the entire cast bond and banter like a normal group of friends would do on a random Friday.
