The mischievous cat wriggled its way out of its carrier and was found by a flight attendant, who then carried it around the aircraft during the pre-departure checks, instantly stealing the spotlight and hearts of everyone onboard. A passenger on a Southwest flight from Los Angeles to St Louis on November 26, Jason Thompson, took to Instagram to share an adorable video where a flight attendant could be seen cradling a grey cat during pre-departure rounds, searching for its owner. In the caption, he said, “When a cat gets loose on your Thanksgiving flight home, and no one claims it @southwestair vibes.”

Suddenly, the holiday rush felt a lot less stressful as passengers burst into laughter and “aww” at the sight of a smiling Southwest flight attendant carrying the lost cat. The grey cat, reportedly named Storyful, looked at ease in the attendant’s hand, who could be seen gently petting it while looking for the feline’s owner. The amused passengers watched on, and a few minutes later, the actual owner finally stepped forward and successfully returned the cat to its carrier.
