What Is It
Eid Al Adha is one of the biggest festivals in the Islamic calendar and is also considered the holiest celebration of all. A lot of you might also call it, The Big Eid. Eid Al Adha means ‘Festival of Sacrifice,’ as it marks the end of the annual pilgrimage to Mecca called Haj. Abu Dhabi’s favourite destination Yas Marina has lined up some exciting events to enjoy, along with some free and paid activities. From fireworks to quirky food trucks and Yas Marina’s award-winning restaurants, it has something for everyone.

Whats In It
Get a view of the breathtaking fireworks at 9:00 pm where vibrant colours will reflect over the stunning Arabian waters at the Yas Marina. If you want to have a unique experience of the fireworks, then hop on to ‘Captain Tony’s Eid Fireworks Cruise’ to witness the show from water with backdrop views of the glittering marina. You will also enjoy the traditional dhow experience with Arabic coffee and dates. The cruise will leave at 8.30pm which will cost AED 100 per adult and AED 50 for children age 6-12 years old.
