Cathay Pacific Is Offering Complimentary Wi-Fi For Business & First Class Travellers

The airline announced the beginning of providing free Wi-Fi service on its first and business class. According to a press release, passengers who opt to travel in either of these air travel classes onboard connected Cathay Pacific aircraft get complimentary Wi-Fi service. This is a significant step taken to upgrade the inflight customer experience.

Cathay Pacific began offering complimentary Wi-Fi services to first class passengers in 2022. The airline decided to expand the extraordinary facility to business class on every connected flight only after conducting successful tests and trials on selected aircraft. Soon, the free Wi-Fi service will be added to Cathay Diamond members travelling in all cabins as well. The plan is to start this in November 2025.

Chief Customer and Commercial Officer Lavinia Lau shared that the airline is committed to investing in and improving customer experiences. “With free Wi-Fi available to passengers travelling in business and first class and coming soon for Cathay Diamond members, they can remain connected in the air whether travelling for leisure or business,” Lavinia added. The experience of travelling high in the air is getting enhanced with the opportunity to remain connected with everyone.
