The famous besties of Bollywood, extremely talented actors Aparshakti Khurana and Sanya Malhotra, joined our editor-in-chief, Kamiya Jani, for a Friendship Day special episode of Sunday Brunch. It was filled with chole bhature, rajma chawal, and more Punjabi flavours, as well as anecdotes about their friendship, their first meeting, their relationships with their siblings, and a few fun games. While sharing about their love for food, Aparshakti Khurana also listed his favourite food spots in Amritsar. Read on to find out what they are.
Aparshakti Khurana’s Favourite Spots In Amritsar
To make things fun, we played an exciting game of ‘This or That’ with Aparshakti Khurana and Sanya Malhotra, where we gave them some options and they had to choose one. When we asked them to choose between Chole Bhature and Amritsari Kulcha, while Sanya Malhotra went with Chole Bhature, Aparshakti Khurana chose Amritsari Kulcha.
Kamiya instantly commented, playfully, that he loves Amritsari food so much that he even married a girl from Amritsar. After he expressed his love for Amritsari food, we had to ask him what his favourite food spots in the city are.
He instantly listed a lot of places that were on his fingertips, revealing his true foodie side. He recommends eating Monu ke kulche and Kulcha Hub for kulchas as well. Aparshakti also recommends trying fruit cream on Lawrence Road, as well as gulab jamuns available at a nearby shop. He also listed one of the oldest restaurants in Amritsar, Kesar da Dhaba, as one of his favourite spots in the city. Make sure to bookmark these spots for your next trip to Amritsar.

Where Did They Meet For The First Time?
Aparshakti Khurana and Sanya Malhotra debuted together in the movie Dangal, and guess what? Those sets were where they met each other for the first time. Sure, they are best friends now, but did this friendship bloom instantly as they met? Apparently not. Sanya Malhotra revealed that while her impression of Aparshakti Khurana was a good one, Aparshakti did not feel the same way. During this conversation, Aparshakti also revealed that even though they met on the sets of Dangal, they were part of the same movie that was shot before Dangal but unfortunately, was never released.
