In the latest episode of Sunday Brunch, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, met with the power couple of Bollywood, Vivek Agnihotri and Pallavi Joshi. While Vivek is known for making thought-provoking movies, Pallavi Joshi owns the screen no matter what role she is portraying. And in this episode, we got a deep dive into their relationship, the stark differences in their diets, and a lot more. While discussing the food habits of every member in the family, we found out that Pallavi Joshi calls herself a clerk. Wondering why? Let’s find out.
Pallavi Joshi Makes Meal Plans For The Entire Month
After years of indulging in hearty, non-vegetarian dishes and alcohol, Vivek Agnihotri realised that all diseases can be reversed by food, and hence he decided to turn vegan. Curiously, we asked who in the house decides what will be cooked every day.
Pallavi Joshi revealed that when her kids were younger, one fine day, she decided to spend 4–5 hours and make an Excel sheet for the entire month, specifying what would be cooked for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks on each day. Why so much hassle, you ask? Because nothing irritates her more than somebody questioning her “aaj kya banana hai?” while she is in the middle of a thought, writing something, or in conversation with someone.
Does it still work that way in the Agnihotri household? Well, now they have not one but five different meal plans: one for each of their children, one each for Pallavi and Vivek, and one for Pallavi’s father. Since making Excel sheets for everything is her go-to thing, Pallavi Joshi feels like she has the job of a clerk. Imagine if we could get our hands on that one-month meal plan; lives would get so much easier, wouldn’t they?

And what does Vivek Agnihotri like to eat cooked by Pallavi Joshi? Well, it’s her delicious chaat that he absolutely loves. From golgappas to sev puri, ragda patties, and bhel puri, Pallavi Joshi is a pro when it comes to making chaat at home.
