The airport celebrated its return and reopening on their social media.
Changi Airport McDonald’s Reopens In Terminal 2
According to an article recently published by the mothership, the previous McDonald’s shut down way back in the year 2020 on the 31st of January. It shut down to go under renovation. However, the pandemic soon happened and that might have played a role in the delay of its reopening.
Now, after three years, it is finally being reopened. The good news is that it is being reopened in the exact same spot as before. Before shutting down, it was located in the Terminal 2 of the Changi airport. Now, it has reopened in the same spot.
The airport authorities took to their social media and announced the reopening of this iconic fast food chain outlet. They made a post about it on Instagram as well as their Facebook.
Revamped With More Interesting Features
This particular outlet has been revamped with some delightful and interesting new features. Among many other state-of-the-art facilities, it also incorporates a marvellous little digital play area. Children visiting this establishment will surely appreciate it.
It also has self-servicing booths where people can order and receive their meal with minimal human interaction. The booths also cut down queueing at the counters and ensure smoother ordering process and shorter wait times.
Patrons are looking forward to visiting this establishment as before closing, it used to be a beloved hangout spot, according to what the mothership article suggested.
