Chef Alain Ducasse’s Culinary Institute To Open In Abu Dhabi, A First In The Middle East

Alain Ducasse hardly needs any introduction to people who like to read and talk about food. Regarded as a superstar chef in the culinary world, he has 20 Michelin stars under his name. And now, he’s all set to launch École Ducasse Abu Dhabi Studio. This will be launched under a partnership between the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi and Erth Hospitality. Spread over 412 m², here’s all you need to know about this upcoming culinary institute in Abu Dhabi.

École Ducasse Abu Dhabi Studio Coming Up In December

The Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) recently announced that it has partnered with Erth Hospitality to launch École Ducasse Abu Dhabi Studio. Yes, the world-renowned chef, Alain Ducasse, will be bringing his first-ever culinary studio to the Middle East. For those who aren’t aware, he is a superchef with 20 Michelin stars, and the studio is expected to open in December.

This development comes after the launch of an AED360 million accelerator programme at the start of 2023. As the studio will be located at the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation, it is certainly going to boost the culinary landscape in the UAE. As it will be spread over a 418 m² space, it will be located at the Al Hosn site. Not to mention, there’s also going to be ample classroom space, which will be equipped with a workshop show kitchen, chef’s table, and even a large outdoor terrace.

What Can You Expect From This Culinary Institute?

Some fantastic highlights of the studio include professional sessions in a contemporary setting that won’t be too long and attendees can use easy-to-use professional equipment. Moreover, each of these classes will comprise a small group of students, which will help with personal attention to detail. Not to mention, there will also be a gourmet cafe that is surely going to be worth checking out. Coming to the curriculum, it will include culinary arts and pastry programmes! This means that students will learn about French and international cuisine through the prized Ducasse philosophy. As it happens, there will also be a multitude of key focus areas, which include themes, such as, ‘First Cooking Lesson – Learning to Cook Without Inhibition’.

With a promise of offering state-of-the-art education to the attendees, this is certainly going to be a course that budding chefs would want to enrol in.
