In India, offering chai is a way of saying “you’re welcome.” It’s a gesture, a tradition, and often, the start of a conversation. Gaa takes this everyday Indian tradition and turns it into something elegant, unique, and deeply comforting.

The afternoon tea experience unfolds at The Gaa Lounge, a beautifully designed space boasting traditional Thai architecture. You’ll be seated in a charming 60-year-old Thai home surrounded by greenery, with a cup of tea (or coffee!) in hand and a tray of delightful Indian-inspired bites before you.

Chai Time With A Side Of Snacks

This isn’t your usual afternoon tea with scones and jam. The food served at this afternoon tea brings together the vibrant tastes of Indian street snacks and traditional sweets. Crunchy Namak Pare and Moong Daal Mishri, Soft Butter Nankhatai biscuits and Jaggery Chocolate Chip Cookies will be a sweet and wholesome start to the tea time. The Refreshing Dahi Bhalla Berry Chaat will bring a burst of flavours to the table, while Betel Leaf Chaat and Tom Kha Pani Puri combine Indian and Thai tastes like never before.

Savouries like the Chili Cheese Cigar Rolls with tomato kasundi and Mini Paneer Krapao Samosas will steal the show in the first bite. Their star dish is the Indian Brown Cheese Crispy Sandwich, crispy, cheesy, and absolutely delicious. Sweet Delights (Mithais) like Caramelised Dulcey Rasmalai, Lychee Parle-G Cheesecake, and traditional sweets like Pistachio & Vanilla Peda will complete the afternoon tea experience.

To accompany your food, enjoy an amazing selection of teas and coffees. You can enjoy handcrafted teas from Assam, Darjeeling, and Kerala boutique tea gardens at Gaa. You can take your pick from unique blends like the Jaipur Blend with hints of dark chocolate and rose petals, herbal and Ayurvedic teas without caffeine, or Traditional Masala Chai with warming spices, Cardamom Chai, and Ginger Chai. For coffee lovers, authentic South Indian filter coffee brewed the traditional way is a must-try.

So if you’re a foodie, tea lover, or simply looking for something deliciously different to do this weekend, Gaa’s Indian Afternoon Tea is where you should be.
