Chef Vikas Khanna Thinks This Actress Is The Most Talented In India

One of the finest celebrity chefs in India, Vikas Khanna, talked about the most talented actress in the Indian film industry on this episode of Tere Gully Mein. Despite being a legendary actress, she was ready to upskill her talents and not just pretend. She was ready to don a chef’s hat and not just act for the camera. According To Vikas Khanna, This Indian Actress Is The Most Talented


Vikas spoke about receiving his first Michelin star. He was incredibly proud of it and shared that this one star meant a thousand Michelin stars for him! This one Michelin star motivates hundreds of budding chefs in India to take their culinary skills on a larger scale.

He then compared the honour of receiving a Michelin star for a chef to that of an actor receiving an Oscar! Vikas added, “For me, it could be Shabana Azami, the most talented Indian actress in our history.” He believes Shabana ji winning an Oscar means India gaining a thousand more Oscars!

Vikas continued that the talented actress would become a torchbearer for thousands of other Oscars coming to India. He made such claims because he professionally trained her to be a Chef from scratch. She is the lead actress in his film, Imaginary Rain. What Else She Learned For Imaginary Rain?

Vikas couldn’t stop praising Shabana and we loved to hear all about it! Our guest told us that it was challenging to cast Shabana for the role of a chef in Imaginary Rain. As she is unaware of the basics of cooking, Vikas had to train her from chopping vegetables to baking fluffy naans in the tandoor!

Hence, for her role, Shabana learned to make bread, daal, koftas, stuffed bhindis, phulkas and a lot more. One of the reasons why Shabana didn’t just want to portray the character was she didn’t want to cheat in front of the camera. So, she learned the cooking before shooting the film.
