Hearing so much about this famous restaurant, locals raised several questions. They wanted to know why the department did not seal SS Hyderabad Biryani following such a horrifying incident. The officials decided to shut down the restaurant after seeing the filthy kitchen. The entire process of sealing a place is quite lengthy. Also, the final decision needs the food safety commissioner’s official order. Officials often lock such places in times of emergencies.

In addition, the restaurant cannot operate and provide services unless the submission of necessary documents such as a licence within 15 days. The Chennai Corporation has no official confirmation whether the incident was caused due to food poisoning.
