Chicken 65 Makes It To The List Of World’s Best Fried Chicken Dishes
TasteAtlas recently released a list of the top ten best fried chicken dishes in the world. The beloved Indian favourite, Chicken 65, made it to the list for the second time in two years consecutively! Last year, it bagged the top spot on the list but this year, it has ranked third.
While the origin of the dish is quite clear, its name is still shrouded in mystery. There are a number of theories as to why it is named so. One reason is that the dish is supposed to have exactly 65 pieces; however, that is not always true.
Another reason behind its name is that the chicken has to be precisely 65 days old for it to be ideal for this particular dish. Whatever may be the reason, it has come to be one of the most iconic dishes in India.
