A Total Of 11,787 Drones Were Used For The Show

According to Global Times, the lead organiser from the drone show’s operational centre confirmed that all 11,787 drones flew in dual formation. This not only challenged the limits in quantity but also challenged technicality and creativity.

Moreover, Chongqing, often called the ‘8D magical city’ for its unusual topography, posed serious challenges for the record attempt. The team had to overcome difficult terrain, communication coverage and complex altitude transitions. The team also conducted several rounds of tests and rehearsals during the preparation phase. Every visual was meticulously calculated to present the city’s charm with perfect accuracy. The team synchronised the drones flawlessly and made the light show a grand success. Moreover, they handled every transition with precision to bring their creativity to life.
