It is high time that each of us needs to be very cautious of our lifestyle and take steps for a better future, for a better planet. Climate change is very real and its consequences are very evident with unusual rainfall, snowfall, change in weather, and whatnot. Delhi is one of the Indian cities that is experiencing unusual weather right now. May is known to be one of the hottest months in the national capital. The city stays bright and heated up during the day and the temperature gets unbearable. But 4 May was very different from other days! Here’s what surprised the people staying in and near the city.
Delhites Were Surprised To See A Foggy Delhi In May!
A Twitter user named Rajneesh Kumar (@rajneeeshkumar) shared how the city looked on Thursday morning. Surrounded by fog, this morning seemed like spending a morning in the month of January.
Fog engulfing Delhi like this is a common visual during the winter season. We cannot even imagine such weather in the month of May. Waking up in a city surrounded by a thick blanket of fog surely has been a unique yet confusing experience for everyone. Delhi and its neighbouring places experienced unseasonal rain in the past some days and this led to a decrease in the scorching temperature and also cooled down all the places.
Netizens Have Flooded The Internet With Pictures Of Fog Covering The City
Waking up to a place where all you can see is a blanket of thick fog is surely very unusual in the first week of May. Thursday morning looked like a plain white canvas. Surrounded by layers of fog, Delhites surely enjoyed a very different morning today. People who woke very early in the morning were awestruck by this sudden shift in temperature. The city was burning in heat just about a week back. But the unusual rainfall in the last few days has changed the weather completely. We do not know for how long the weather is going to be like this, but it is still a relief from the intolerable heat.
