The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Mohan Yadav, invited our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, for a delightful Sunday Brunch at his beautiful residence in Bhopal. Kamiya also got an exclusive tour of his home, which reflects spirituality in every corner. Deeply rooted in his values, the Chief Minister shared how he has always been taught to care for Gau Mata (cows), and in tune with that, he even has a Gaushala (cowshed) in his backyard. With a clear vision to make Madhya Pradesh progressive across every sector, he also revealed his mission to boost the state’s dairy production. Read on to know more about his plan.

Mohan Yadav Aims To Boost Dairy Production

CM Mohan Yadav’s day begins with seeking blessings from God, followed by serving the cows. Every morning, he makes sure to visit the open-spaced cowshed. He spends time with the cows and feeds them with the belief that doing so will ensure your day goes well and bring success in whatever you do. Kamiya shared that she had heard that the Madhya Pradesh Financial Corporation (MPFC) is aiming to double milk and dairy production in the state. He replied, “Bilkul. Aur main ye maan ke chahta hu ke dudh ka utpadan gareeb se gareeb kisaan ke jeevan mein aayein aur kuposhan khatam karien.”

His vision is to bring India back to a time when it held the top position in the world for dairy and milk production. He is determined to re-establish the natural cycle of animal husbandry and hopes that farmers can benefit from dairy farming alongside traditional crop cultivation. This would help them earn more than what regular farming alone provides.

He said, “Isme na mawa hai, na doosre padarth ki cheez hai, aur maida bhi nahi hai, lekin bohot tasty hai.”  This delightful Sunday brunch at Mohan Yadav’s home beautifully reflects the rich culinary heritage of Madhya Pradesh.
