Coldplay Announced Its Newest Show In India

Initially, the band shared information about two concerts for the Music of the Spheres tour in India. The first announcement was for two shows on January 18 and 19, 2025, at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Seeing the epic rush in demand and sold-out tickets within minutes, Coldplay announced the third concert at the same venue on January 20.

The unprecedented demand to attend a Coldplay concert continues to remain evident as fans bombarded social media platforms with the need for more shows. Gladly, Coldplay responded to the anticipation by announcing an all-new show in India. The band is set to host its biggest-ever show in India in 2025. The venue for the extravagant concert has been decided and it is the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It is slated to take place on January 25, a few days after three shows in Navi Mumbai.

Narendra Modi Stadium is the world’s largest stadium. With a seating capacity of 132,000, it is one of India’s most loved and preferred stadiums to host cricket matches. From international cricket matches to Indian Premier League (IPL) clashes, it has witnessed some of the most iconic performances by players and teams.
