Come 2024, Vistara Plans To Increase Frequency Of Flights From Mumbai To Singapore & London

The full-service airline Vistara, based in Mumbai, is planning to enhance the frequency of its flights to two important destinations: Singapore and London. Despite the impending merger with Air India, the airline is continuing to grow, particularly from Mumbai.

By raising frequencies to two well-liked international destinations, London Heathrow (LHR) and Singapore (SIN), Vistara has stated that it will further improve its international connections out of Mumbai (BOM).

At the moment, the airline operates four weekly flights from Mumbai to London Heathrow and one daily trip from Mumbai to Singapore. However, starting on February 1, it will operate an additional daily service between Mumbai and Singapore, and as of March 1, it will operate a daily service from London Heathrow.

Additionally, Vistara operates six weekly flights from Pune to Singapore and daily flights from Delhi to Singapore and London. Although Vistara is well-established in India, it has expanded its global network considerably.

Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Dammam, Dhaka, Doha, Dubai, Frankfurt, Jeddah, London Heathrow, Male, Mauritius, Muscat, and Singapore are among the fourteen foreign locations that may be reached from Mumbai alone.

Mumbai-Doha Flight Service:

Earlier, the airline started a flight service from Mumbai to Doha with 4 direct flights weekly. On December 15, at 18:45 (IST), the first flight, using an A321neo aircraft from Vistara, took off from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai and landed at Hamad International Airport in Doha at 20:30 (local time zone).

Vistara has been concentrating on growing its footprint in the Middle East due to a steady increase in demand for travel between India and the area. According to its representatives, the airline currently provides direct service to five locations in the area: Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Dubai, Jeddah, and Muscat.

On December 15, it began a new flight from Mumbai to Doha, using an Airbus A321neo. Vistara uses Dreamliners for long-haul European destinations and A321s for several medium-haul international routes.

It has started operating many foreign routes recently, including Delhi-Hong Kong, Delhi-Bali, and Frankfurt-Mumbai. It also accomplished the significant feat of running 300 flights each day in September.

Vistara is still improving its fleet and running as an independent business despite though it will soon combine with Air India in less than a year. With the recent arrival of its 50th Airbus A320neo, the carrier currently carries 66 aircraft in total: 10 Airbus A321, 6 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, and 50 Airbus A320neo.

With more flights, the increased Dreamliner capacity has also assisted in the company’s expansion throughout Europe. According to Vinod Kannan, CEO of Vistara, the airline’s new aircraft would mostly be utilised to expand its foreign route network in the upcoming months.

In an effort to maintain its competitiveness in the global market, Vistara also revealed recently that it will provide free WiFi to all Club Vistara Members flying on its Boeing 787 and Airbus A321 aircraft abroad.
