GEMS School Of Research & Innovation To Open In Dubai
It is expected that Dubai will soon be getting one of the most expensive schools in the world. Yes, expected to open in August 2025, GEMS Education has announced that it will be launching the GEMS School of Research and Innovation in the Dubai Sports City.
As revealed on their website, the school will be following the English national curriculum. Not to mention, small class sizes will be a priority for ensuring personalised learning. What this means is that in the early years, the classes will be kept to just 16 students and by year six, the class sizes will be limited to 20 students only.
It Will Have An Exhorbant School Fees
The annual fees for this school is expected to range from AED1,16,000 to AED2,06,000. As a result, the school has been positioned as a premium offering in the bike. Coming to the state-of-the-art facilities, the school covers a whopping area of 47,600 m². Built with an investment of AED367 million, it has 30% more in the budget as compared to the previous premium schools. Recognised as the most ambitious project to date by GEMS, the school has been designed in such a way that it combines world-class teaching methods with their being a focus on innovation.

The School Will Be Replete With State-Of-The-Art Facilities
As it happens, the school will offer a range of sports, art, and academic programmes that will be integrated with these facilities. With an opportunity to engage in 15+ core sports activities like swimming in Olympic size pool, NBA-spec basketball court, gymnastics, football, rugby, and even cricket, it’s bound to cater towards budding talent in the country. Not to mention, the school will also have a Disruption Lab and Research Centre that will focus on fostering entrepreneurial skills at eight derivative thinking
Although the school primarily plans to hire teachers from the UK, they are also exploring international best practices for their students. So, once the school opens, one can truly expect that it’s going to offer some of the most exclusive education facilities to the students.
