We say this because ITA Airways, which is the flag carrier of Italy will soon begin direct flights between Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and Rome, Italy. Yes, starting from August 2024, the airline will commence three weekly flights on this route.
ITA Airways To Beging Direct Flights Between Rome & Jeddah
It was recently revealed in a report by Simple Flying that ITA Airways, which is also the flag carrier of Italy has announced direct flights between Rome and Jeddah. Starting on August 1, 2024, the airline plans to expand its route with non-stop flights to this port city in Saudi Arabia. This means that Rome Fiumicino International Airport and Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport will be connected with three weekly flights.
From August, There Will Be Three Weekly Flights
In case you’re wondering about the schedule, the flights will be flying from Rome to Jeddah on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays while the same from Jeddah to Rome will be on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This schedule is going to be in place from August 1, 2024 to March 29, 2025. However, the airline has not disclosed the aircraft it will deploy on this route. Although, it’s worth mentioning, that the airline has a fleet of aircraft, comprising, Airbus A320, Airbus A321, Airbus A319, Airbus A220, Airbus A330, and Airbus A350.
