Saudia To Start Flights From Jeddah To Johannesburg

Saudia recently took to its Twitter account to announce that it will be starting direct flights from Jeddah to Johannesburg on December 1. Moreover, from the period between December 1, 2023, to January 31, 2024, there will be four weekly flights from Jeddah to the South African city. According to a report by Airspace-Africa, it was revealed that the services will resume on the airline’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. Moreover, it’s worth mentioning that this resumption of flight comes after it was stopped in April 2020. The airline will operate on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. And if you’re wondering about its schedule –

  • The flight number SV449 will depart from Jeddah at 1:20 AM and arrive in Johannesburg at 07:35 AM on Tuesday and Friday.
  • The flight number SV447 will leave from Jeddah at 1:50 PM and arrive in Johannesburg at 8:05 PM on Saturday and Monday.
  • The flight SV448 will leave from Johannesburg at 8:50 AM, and arrive in Jeddah at 4:45 PM on Tuesday and Friday.
  • Finally, SV446 will depart from Johannesburg at 9:40 PM and arrive in Jeddah at 5:35 AM +1 on Saturday and Monday.
