Good news, travellers! Air India Express is all set to begin its operations from Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad. As per reports, the airline will commence its routine operations from March 1 this year. Scroll on to learn more about the flight route, schedules, and other details.

Air India Express To Start Direct Flights From Hindon Airport

In a move to boost connectivity within the National Capital Region, Air India Express has announced its plans to start operations from Hindon Airport on March 1. According to The Financial Express, with this, the airline will become the only carrier in India to operate from two airports in the Delhi-NCR region.

The airline took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce its network expansion. In the tweet, they said, “We’re thrilled to connect Delhi NCR from Hindon Airport, Ghaziabad with direct flights to Bengaluru, Goa, Kolkata and back.”

With this expansion, Air India Express will join IndiGo to operate from two airports within the same metropolitan region. IndiGo operates from Old Goa and Manohar International Airport. The Hindon Airport is situated in Ghaziabad and is the best alternative for travellers from Central and East Delhi, Noida, and nearby areas.

Routes, Schedule & Airfare Details

Air India Express will operate direct flights to Bengaluru, Goa, and Kolkata. This is what the Air India Express’ schedule from Hindon Airport will look like –

1. Hindon to Bengaluru: Departure at 3:45 PM, Arrival at 6:40 PM (Daily except Saturday)
2. Bengaluru to Hindon: Departure at 12:40 PM, Arrival at 3:15 PM (Daily except Saturday)
3. Hindon to Goa: Departure at 10:30 AM, Arrival at 1:15 PM (Daily)
4. Goa to Hindon: Departure at 2:00 PM, Arrival at 4:40 PM (Daily except Saturday)
5. Hindon to Kolkata: Departure at 5:20 PM, Arrival at 7:40 PM (Daily except Saturday)
6. Kolkata to Hindon: Departure at 7:10 AM, Arrival at 9:30 PM (Daily)

According to The Financial Express, the inaugural, discounted fares of these flights are now available on Air India Express’ website. The airfare for the Hindon-Kolkata route starts at ₹4,400, for Hindon-Goa and Goa-Hindon it is ₹4,900, ₹5,500 for Kolkata-Hindon, ₹6,000 for Bengaluru-Hindon, and ₹6,200 for Hindon-Bengaluru.
