Travellers will soon navigate check-in, immigration, and boarding processes effortlessly using a single, unique biometric identifier: their facial print. This marks a monumental leap towards a seamless and highly efficient travel experience.

The Single Biometric System At DXB Airport T3

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA-Dubai) is spearheading the deployment of the single biometric system at DXB T3. This pioneering initiative is a collaborative effort with Emirates Airlines.

The groundbreaking process involves travellers seamlessly utilizing the biometric system at every stage of their airport journey. From initial check-in to navigating through immigration, and finally stepping onto the aircraft, the single biometric system will streamline the entire travel process.

The paperless airport access system at DXB represents a groundbreaking milestone for the region and is among the few of its kind globally. Remarkably, the system remains resilient. Undergone cosmetic surgery and are worried about the biometric not recognising your face? Well, don’t fret as the system is curated with high tech and incorporates multiple biometric components, including iris print, facial print, thermal print, and traveller fingerprints.
