Well, in that case, you will be pleased to know that soon you can fly from Sharjah to Maldives with Air Arabia. Launching in October, here’s everything you need to know about the daily flight service that will be operated by the carrier between the two destinations.
Air Arabia To Service Flights Between Sharjah & Maldives
It was recently announced in a report by the Khaleej Times that soon Sharjah and Maldives will be connected through a new daily flight. Yes, the new route between the two destinations will begin on October 27 and it will be operated by Air Arabia. To enhance the travel options for the famous beach destination, this new flight route has been introduced and people will be able to travel between them with the help of Airbus A320. As it happens, the flight route aims to strengthen economic and tourism ties between the two nations by opening new horizons. So, it will be departing from Sharjah Airport to land at the Velana International Airport in Malé.

The Flight Begins In October
As it happens, the Sharjah Airport Authority Chairman has also explained that it’s the most sought-after tourist destination for vacationers around the world. Not to mention, this includes attracting international airlines thereby aiming to increase the number of international flights. So, as the network expands, Sharjah is continuing to ensure its presence is there on the international travel map as well.
Flynas Recently Began Flights
At this point, it’s worth mentioning that quite recently, Flynas which is a Saudi Arabian airline made its first landing at the airport. This airline was also operating seven weekly flights from Jeddah to Sharjah. As it happens, two of the flights per week will be from Madinah to Sharjah. The route will be serviced by Boeing 737 aircraft and will contribute towards expanding the international aviation network. It’s worth mentioning that this route began in September and it continues to grow.
