Are you someone who has plans to travel to India, well, particularly to Pune, which is a beautiful city in the state of Maharashtra? Well, you are then in for some brilliant news. We say this because recently, it was announced that the Pune International Airport will now be connected with daily flight operations to Dubai. Here’s all you need to know about the flight service which will begin in October.

Pune-Dubai Flights Soon!

As announced by the Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation, Murlidhar Mohol, Pune International Airport will now be connected to Dubai on a daily basis with flights starting on October 27. Yes, this announcement was made by the minister on his X account. This has been planned to address the demands of the residents. However, it has not yet been decided which airline will be operating this daily flight, but speculations suggest that it might be serviced by IndiGo. In fact, it was also revealed that soon Pune-Bangkok-Pune flights might also operate three times a week, with flights starting on October 27.

Drukair Announces Flights To Dubai From Paro

At this point, it’s worth mentioning that Dubai is connected to several cities in India and the direct flight to Dubai just adds to these international flights. In fact, it was only recently that Drukair also announced flight services between Dubai and Paro. Yes, Royal Bhutan Airlines is also all set to expand its international network with the introduction of twice-weekly flights from Dubai to the city of Paro.

Why Visit The Two Cities?

So, once the flight services begin, you can visit the Indian city of Pune even for leisurely purposes as it has a lot to offer. From a walk in the Pune-Okayama Friendship Garden to a visit to the Mahadji Shinde Chhatri temple, this city has a lot to offer to travellers. Similarly, the valley town of Paro in Bhutan is another gym that’s worth exploring.
