In the online video, the Russian tourist is seen taking part in a family gathering outside a temple. He explains that the family first enquired about his nationality before graciously inviting him to join their dinner. A man offered him a typical Indian thali that included daal, roti, sabzi, and papad. Interested in the food, he even asked, ‘What is this?’ he was also served with a bit of papad; he exclaimed in joy, ‘It is very tasty, guys.’

The video continued with yet another man extending sweets to him after the meal. The tourist expressed gratitude and said he was hungry and felt moved by the generosity of the family. He also spoke of his fascination with Hindu culture, noting how every Indian home has a small temple within the house for their prayers.
