Visit Mumbai for the first time, and as you are traversing down the roads, what would catch your eye are the massive hoardings, advertising films, TV shows, jewellery, clothing and every kind of product or service you can think of. Billboards keep greeting you in each passing second, and you’d have seen more billboards in less than a minute in ‘India’s financial capital’ than you’d have in any other city. Poking fun at Mumbai’s billboard fascination is comedy content creator, RJ Abhinav, who can’t stop raving about ‘Mumbai Premium’.
‘Mumbai Premium’ Promises Ad-Free Travel In Mumbai
Comedy content creator, RJ Abhinav’s latest reel is a hilarious advertisement for ‘Mumbai Premium.’ What’s that? Well, like other premium features, ‘Mumbai Premium’ lets you skip advertisements in real-time, so you can enjoy your journey ad-free. Don’t get us? In the reel, RJ Abhinav is seen departing from Mumbai Airport, only to have a salesman stop him for a minute.
In the comedy skit, the salesman explains to RJ Abhinav about his company’s ‘new product’, Mumbai Premium. Shelling out a spectacle case from his pocket, and says it’s Mumbai Premium, similar to YouTube and Spotify’s premium versions. Introduced to help loyalists skip advertisements and enjoy uninterrupted content. Sceptical about taking yet another subscription, RJ Abhinav passes it off. But the salesman prods him and urges him to at least take a free trial. How does the product work? Mumbai Premium is a pair of sunglasses that needs to be worn when one travels over a flyover in Mumbai.

Hilarious Reel Leaves Netizens Demanding A City-Specific Product
The hilarious reel has RJ Abhinav sceptically wearing the sunglasses as he heads home in his cab. Initially, the sunglasses seem just like normal ones. But the minute he looks outside the car’s window, the content creator is shocked to see blurred billboards. The advertisements on massive hoardings over the flyover have disappeared. Elated to get a break from viewing advertisements, RJ Abhinav even coaxes his driver to give Mumbai Premium a shot. In no time, he calls up the salesman and asks him to order a pair of Mumbai Premium sunglasses for the cab driver as well.
In his caption, RJ Abhinav jokes that Mumbai Premium 2.0 would hide the city’s rampant construction work. This reel went viral and left Netizens in splits with many demanding premium sunglasses for Jaipur, Bengaluru and other cities as well.
