Ever since the outbreak of the pandemic, the UAE has taken some strict measures in curbing the spread. It started off with shutting down schools and then gradually went to closing restaurants, beaches, parks, nightclubs, etc. Amidst all the chaos, it can be really hard to keep a track of the day to day developments. In addition, staying indoors also means you have minimal or no access to what the outside world looks like in today’s situation.
So, here are all the latest measures UAE has taken to curb Covid:
1. Malls are closed for two weeks, effective in the next 48 hrs
2. Pharmacies, food retail outlets, supermarkets and grocery will remain open to buy essentials, so you DO NOT have to stock up
3. Dine-services in restaurants have been suspended. Home delivery is open however
4. Public transport is still functional and authorities said more updates on this would be announced “later”
5. All inbound and outbound flights in UAE have been suspended
