People across the UAE are celebrating the Eid al-Adha holidays with their loved ones in their own special way. While some are busy shopping and checking out all the popular landmarks in the Emirates, others are at home, preparing a feast fit for the king, for their family. And Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai recently gave us a glimpse of what is cooking in his kitchen through a series of Instagram stories that he shared with his followers. The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan constantly treats his millions of followers on Instagram with a glimpse of his day-to-day life. And recently, he did the same thing! Yes, he shared a series of stories in a kitchen where he walked his followers through the process of cooking meat and rice-based dishes. While it’s not clear, if Sheikh Hamdan has donned a chef’s cap, it must be noted that from the process of cooking, it looks like a preparation for cooking biryani. In the series of stories, someone is seen stirring onions with a bunch of spices, like bay leaves, cardamom pods, cinnamon, cloves, and other condiments, and the next clip shows poultry being sauteed with these herbs and caramelised onions.

Finally, Sheikh Hamdan shares a picture of colourful Basmati rice, topped with what looks like juicy pieces of meat with another traditional celebratory, rice and meat-based dish. It really does seem that the crown prince is thoroughly enjoying Eid festivities with his loved ones. Previously, Sheikh Hamdan also wished his followers, Eid Mubarak with a heart-warming photo of him and his father, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
