1. Emirates Celebrates Flying Flagship A380 To Mauritius

Emirates recently took to its Instagram account to mention that it is celebrating flying its flagship A380 to Mauritius. As it happens, it was the first destination in Africa to have to have scheduled services operated by this superjumbo aircraft in 2013. Today, there are several destinations where this aircraft flies.

2. Immersive Podcasting In Dolby Atmos Organised In Dubai

The Dubai Press Club, in collaboration with Dolby Laboratories, recently organised a workshop in Dubai. Titled ‘Immersive podcasting in Dolby Atmos,’ this one was focused on boosting the capabilities of podcast creators. As it happens, the aim was to enhance their storytelling for listeners through Dolby Atmos® immersive audio.

3. January 1 Declared Holiday In Abu Dhabi

Recently it was announced that Monday, January 1 will be a holiday for Government entity employees and companies in Abu Dhabi. This is being observed for celebrating the New Year’s Day. As a result, work will resume again on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

4. Christmas Spirits High At DXB

In a recent video posted by the Dubai International Airport, it as revealed that Christmas spirits seem to be high at the airport. Yes, a woman dressed as an elf-like magical character, was seen handing out gifts to children. Yes, with a beaming smile, these kids belong to a varied age group.

5. Dubai RTA Announces Discounts For Marine Transport On NYE

Dubai’s RTA has revealed special offers and premium services for a spectacular show on New Year’s Eve 2024. Yes, aboard Marine Transit modes (Dubai Ferry, Abra, and Water Taxi), several attractive prices and discounts have been mentioned. It should be noted that journey of the Abra and the Water Taxi will begin from the Marina Mall station and the fare is AED150 per person, while booking the entire Water Taxi will cost AED3750. As it happens children under 2 years can ride for free!

Similarly, Dubai Ferry trip fare is AED350 for the silver class and AED525 for the gold class. Not to mention, there’s a 50% discount for children aged 2 to 10, and free for infants.

6. Alain Ducasse Inaugurates École Ducasse Abu Dhabi Studio

Alain Ducasse inaugurated its culinary school in Abu Dhabi. Yes, launching École Ducasse Abu Dhabi Studio, the 20-Michelin star superchef wishes for the studio to serve as a culinary beacon for the UAE. As it happens, this is a 418-square metre space that’s been meticulously designed and is located at Al Hosn site.

7. Winter City At Global Village Is Taking Festive Feels To Next Level

Complete with Santa Claus, dancing elves and polar bears, the Winter City at Global Village is bound to take your festive feels to next level. The highlight has to be the majestic Christmas tree that’s been decked with baubles, lights, and gift boxes, adding to its grandeur.

8. Drone Shows For DSF 2024 Take People On A Journey Of Future

During the Dubai Shopping Festival 2024, 800 drones create a spectacular vision in the night sky. Onlookers were seen recording this impressive spectacle that illuminated the glittering Dubai skyline. If you also wish to catch a glimpse of this, then you’d be pleased to know that there are two shows happening every evening till January 14, 2024.

9. Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open Tickets Make For Perfect Gifts

As Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open returns to the UAE next year, the tickets are already on sale. And anyone who purchases tickets for the event during the 12 days of Christmas can take advantage of an exclusive offer. As it happens, the second instalment of the competition will happen in February 3rd-11th at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City.
