Emirates and NBA have announced a multiyear global marketing partnership. This means Emirates has been named the Official Global Airline Partner of the NBA. Moreover, the collaboration also makes Emirates the inaugural title partner of the NBA Cup.

2. Road Closures Announced In Abu Dhabi

After road closures on Friday, several routes will again be closed on Saturday and Sunday, February 10 and 11, The partial closure is for the Cycling Tour, which sees riders from the 20 teams travelling a distance of 113 km. The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) in Abu Dhabi has, therefore, urged motorists to drive carefully and abide by the traffic rules.

3. Riyadh Zoo Reopens After Being Closed For Maintainance

The National Center for Wildlife recently revealed that it has reopened the zoo in Riyadh. This development comes after it has been closed temporarily for maintenance. Home to a variety of species, this zoo is certainly a great place to learn about the animal kingdom.

4. Etihad Becomes Official Sponsor Of Chennai Super Kings

Etihad Airways, which is the national airline of the United Arab Emirates recently revealed that it is the official sponsor of Chennai Super Kings. The partnership was revealed during a special ceremony held in CSK’s home city of Chennai, India.

5. Dubai Welcomed 17 M Tourists In 2023

The year 2023 saw Dubai welcoming a record-breaking number of tourists. Yes, 17 million international visitors were welcomed in the emirate. In fact, this remarkable growth of 19.4% firmly has established the emirate as a leading destination. Dubai is at the forefront of the global tourism sector, with one of the world’s highest hotel occupancy rates of 77.4%. So, such achievements align with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to position Dubai as one of the top three cities worldwide for business and tourism.

6. Museum Of Future To Host A Series Of Events

The Museum of Future has a series of events planned for the month of February. One of these events includes a panel discussion, which is a part of the ‘Future Experts Professor’s Edition’ series. This session will take place on Thursday, February 15th, at 12 PM. 7. Emirates Is Bringing A380 To Osaka

The airline recently announced on X that Emirates will be boosting its services to Osaka. Yes, they’re introducing A380 starting from June 1, 2024. The A380 will be deployed to Osaka and will be retrofitted with the airline’s latest product. Yes, featuring Premium Economy, this will make Osaka the second Japanese gateway to operate with the newly upgraded aircraft.

8. Crown Prince Hamdan Laid The Foundation Stone For Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital

Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced on X that the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital is expected to be completed in 2026. It’s a part of Dubai Health, which will be Dubai’s first integrated, comprehensive cancer hospital. Moreover, they laid the foundation stone for this hospital, and this is also a part of advancing the goal of the Dubai Social Agenda 33 by delivering efficient and high-quality healthcare services.

9. Dubai Frame Launches New VIP Ticket Prices

Recently, the Dubai Municipality announced a new VIP ticket for the Dubai Frame. This ticket gives visitors a guided tour, reserved parking space, and even quick entry through a private gate. In case you’re wondering, it’s priced at AED300 per ticket.

10. Hamdan Bin Zayed Honours Winners of Camel Mazayna

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed recently honoured the winners of the Camel Mazayna. This happened at the conclusion of the 17th Al Dhafra Festival. Yes, Khalifa bin Saif won first place in the local category while Sari Al Mazrouei won the Al Majahim category.
