1. Traffic Fines Across The Gulf Cities

Recently it was announced at the 40th meeting of the GCC Interior Ministers in Muscat, Oman that there’ll be a uniform electronic system that will link the traffic violations across the Gulf Cooperation Council. At this point, it’s worth mentioning that it was first shared that plans were in the pipeline for Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE.

2. Dubai RTA Announces Alternative Streets & Roads For Nov 12

Dubai Ride is scheduled to take place on November 12. And so, the Dubai RTA has revealed the alternate streets and routes for people to take on its official account on X (formerly Twitter). With the help of the route map, people will be able to avoid bottlenecks and traffic jams to reach their destinations.

3. New Unified Visa Launched For GCC

A new unified tourist visa has been approved by the GCC. This will allow people to travel to the member states of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, on a single visa. Announced during the 40th meeting of the Interior Ministers held in the Oman Capital, this is a big milestone achieved for the tourism industry. It should, however, be mentioned that the unanimously endorsed tourism visa system is expected to be launched in 2024-25.

4. Traffic Warnings & Fines Issued Over Illegal Turnings

Smart traffic systems in Dubai are able to detect when drivers take an illegal turn on the roads. Yes, and as these systems monitor and detect cars turning from non-designated areas, fines have been introduced for such violations. Yes, a driver will have to pay AED500, if they’re found taking turns from undesignated areas. This has come after more than 29000 turning violations!

5. Emirates To Showcase Its Entire Commercial & Training Aircraft

In a recent announcement made by the Emirates on X, it was revealed that the airline is planning to showcase its full family of aircraft at the upcoming Dubai Air Show. This comprises the latest retrofitted A380, Boeing 777-300ER, Diamond DA42-VI, and Cirrus SR 22, which is a training aircraft. Not to mention, the Emirates stand will feature several Emirates divisions and the highlight of this year is employee experience.

6. Mons Catering Launched At Expo City Dubai

Saudia has launched a flash sale till November 13. The sale is for tickets for flights from Saudi Arabia to New York and Washington via Riyadh or to Los Angeles via Jeddah. However, it must be kept in mind that the travel period must be between November 20, 2023 to January 31, 2024. So, if you’ve been planning to celebrate NYE in the USA, now is the perfect time to book your tickets!

8. Nutcracker Show Is Coming To Dubai Opera On December 15

Dubai Opera took to its account on X to announce that the Nutcracker show is coming to its theatre in December. Yes scheduled to happen from December 15 to 17, this whimsical ballet relays the evergreen Christmas tale and is being performed on the stage by the Ballet Theatre and State Opera Orchestra of Astana. As the tickets are already live on the website, you might want to book yours soon!
