3. Al Raha Beach Hotel Rebrands As Al Raha Beach Resort & Spa

During a gala dinner, Al Raha Beach Hotel in Abu Dhabi and its new identity. Yes, now known as Al Raha Beach Resort & Spa, this announcement aims to refine luxury and wellness in Abu Dhabi. From February onwards, this property will introduce expanded spa and wellness facilities.

4. DXB Braces For 4.3 Million Travellers In 15 Days

Dubai International Airport is expecting 4.3 million travellers in the next 15 days. It is getting ready for the busiest January yet! In fact, the stage is already set for higher than the pre-pandemic levels of 2018-19. In fact, the daily traffic expects more than 3,11,000 guests on a daily basis.

5. Sand Cat Helps Maintain Ecological Balance

The sand cat, which is a small nocturnal wild cat plays an important role in maintaining the ecological balance of the King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority. In fact, even though it’s not globally threatened, the reserve still has conservation programmes for them. Moreover, the reserve has more than 350 species of wildlife.

During New Year’s Eve, 1,00,000 balloons were released at the Sheikh Zayed Festival. The sustainable balloons carried thousands of seeds, which were then released into the skies of Al Wathba.

7. Dubai Restaurant Expects Cost To Rise

With the impending ban on single-use items in Dubai that is expected to be fully implemented from June 1, 2025; restaurants in Dubai expect their costs to increase. Paper table covers, for instance, cost higher than plastic ones and so, the operational cost will increase for such establishments.

8. Oman Air Announces Complimentary Tickets To Kuwait Sold Out

Oman Air took to its official account and to announce that all the complimentary tickets for the flight that was headed to Kuwait had been sold out. This promotion had been for the 26 Arabian Gulf Cup. Not to mention, the tickets were sold out due to the high demand!

9. Gulf Air To Operate Nine Flights To Kuwait

To support the Bahrain National Team at the Gulf Cup, Bahrain will be operating nine round trips to Kuwait International Airport. They will be transporting fans for the Gulf Cup finale, which will be against Oman. Scheduled for January 4, this will be happening at Jaber Al Ahmed International Stadium. It should be noted that the return flights are scheduled for January 5.

10. The Ministry Of Hajj & Umrah Reiterate Essential Carry-On Guidelines

For the people who are performing the Umrah journey and want to travel hassle-free, the Ministry of Umrah & Hajj as reiterated its carry-on guidelines. This helps in avoiding excess baggage fees and even prevents check-in delays. Not to mention, a smoother Umrah pilgrimage is experienced by the people.
