There are several fraudulent websites who are falsely advertise that they have Global Village VIP tickets for the new season. And these are being sold for discounted prices! However, as revealed by the Dubai Police, these links are basically a scam. Yes, the scam has been designed in such a way that it steals money and personal data of the users. So, fraudsters have ended up setting up a website which mimics the official pages so that buyers are tricked into giving this information.

As revealed in a report by Khaleej Times, the Dubai Police has warned against such schemes. After all, they tend to resurface every year, preying on excited visitors, as there is a huge demand for Global Village tickets. This year also the situation also seems to be the same, ahead of the opening, which is set for October 15.
Only Purchase From The Official Channel
The best way to avoid such scams is to only purchase tickets from the official channel. This means it’s always safest if you purchase a ticket through the official website of the Global Village, the mobile application or authorised outlets. In fact, for Season 30, Global Village VIP tickets will be exclusively available on Coca-Cola Arena’s website. With tickets pre-booking starting on September 20th and general sales taking place from September 27th, it’s important to be aware of such scams in order to keep your information and money safe.
However, not just as Global Village tickets, but there are similar scams that target residents across Dubai. From discounts on utility bills to discounted concerts and sports events, there are several fake social media ads that are scams hidden behind huge promises.
