1. NCM Forecasts Heavy Rain In The Saudi Region
As mentioned in a report of the Saudi Gazette, the National Centre for Meteorology has predicted moderate to heavy rain. It is expected to hit across most regions of Saudi Arabia until Friday. According to this forecast, regions of Makkah, Al-Baha, Al-Jouf, Jazan, Asir, Hail, Tabuk, Riyadh, Qassim, the Northern Borders, Najran, and the Eastern Province may experience moderate to heavy rainfall.
2. General Directorate Of Passports Begins Using Electric Scooters For Passport Personnel
As revealed in a report of SPA, the General Directorate of Passports has begun using electric scooters for passport personnel. This is at the King Fahd Causeway crossing in the Eastern Region. These scooters would help improve the quality of services, which would be provided to travellers. This would facilitate their travel procedures and regulate vehicle movement.
3. Dubai Police Seizes 1,230 Vehicles

As mentioned in a report of the Dubai Media Office, the Dubai Police have seized 1,230 vehicles. This is under the ‘Quiet Roads’ initiative, and the police have also issued 33,372 fines. It is a part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of life. As a result, it was to reinforce the community safety and reduce traffic-related disturbances.
4. Private Schools In UAE Continue Enrolments Online
As confirmed by the UAE, enrolments for the private schools are continuing smoothly through fully digital registration systems. Gulf News, in its report, has mentioned that parents can complete applications, assessments, and seat reservations online.

5. Riyadh University Of Arts To Open Applications In May
It should be noted that applications for the Riyadh University of Arts will open in May. Yes, as mentioned by Scene Now, the first academic year is set to begin in September. This would be according to Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Culture. Moreover, the university will launch four colleges of Film, Music, Theatre and Performing Arts, and Cultural Management.
